Terms & Conditions

Please review the following terms and conditions (T&Cs) before making a booking. When you place an order or purchase from Miss Platter, you agree to our General T&Cs and our Delivery T&Cs.

ORDERING

To secure a booking and date for grazing tables, we require at least 48 hours notice. This also applies to platter boxes. If you wish to order within this window, please call us directly to confirm our availability and confirmation. Full payment will be required immediately if you wish to place an order within these windows of time, and no refunds will be provided if cancellation by the customer occurs.

Cancellation:

All cancellations are required by email at contact@missplatter.nz

For orders less than $500, Miss Platter will accept cancellation up to 48 hours before the requested delivery date.
Orders over $500 require a non-refundable deposit of $200 and a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations to be accepted. 


Orders cancelled after the above times may incur charges based on expenses incurred by Miss Platter.  We will do our best to minimise these charges for you. Any refunds will be returned to the account or payment method used for the order.

Date Holding: A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date and time, and the remainder of your payment is due 48 hours before your event.

Payment

Customer payments will be processed by our secure online credit card merchant Stripe.  We also accept bank deposits and require confirmations of payment to move forward with any order.

Note: A deposit may be required on certain orders. Unless otherwise requested, invoices are sent to your email address.

Any refunds will be returned to the account or payment method used for the order.

FOOD/PRODUCTS

Seasonal Produce & Availability: All platters and grazing tables are created using seasonal produce. The items available for any platter may vary slightly between seasons. Alternative items will be provided, and any adjustments will be discussed directly.

Food Handling: Dispose of unrefrigerated food after 4 hours to comply with NZ food safety standards. We are not responsible for adverse reactions after this time. Chill and consume products on the same day.
 

Dietary Requirements & Allergies:

Please be advised that Miss Platter cannot guarantee that your order will not contain traces of the substances to which your guest is allergic. We will always ensure that we discuss any allergies before preparing any platter and grazing table.

Notifying us of allergies and dietary requirements to be aware of in your catering is confirmed when booking. We are not liable for adverse reactions if allergies are not communicated. We will do our best to avoid cross-contamination but regretfully cannot accommodate serious food allergies like Celiac disease. We recommend severely allergic guests supply their food from a reliable source that can guarantee no cross-contamination.

Event Collection:

If you have an order for a function, Miss Platter will collect their equipment within 48 hours after the function. Please ensure they are cleaned and placed conveniently for us to retrieve our equipment. Lost or broken equipment will be charged to the customer at their replacement value. In instances where items are all disposable, they may be disposed of by the event holders.

Pricing information:

Please note all prices include GST unless otherwise stated. Miss Platter will work to maintain our prices, however, we reserve the right to alter prices without notice.

DELIVERY

Local Hand Delivery: Your platter will be hand-delivered by one of our team members or our trusted delivery service. Delivery costs are added to any quotation.

Delivery Areas: We offer free delivery within Auckland

Delivery Times: Standard delivery (9 am-5 pm) is included. Specific time requests are confirmed via email. Deliveries may vary due to external factors such as traffic, weather or external interference.

Customer Availability: Customers must be available to receive products. We are not liable for missed or rescheduled deliveries. Signatures are required.

Delivery Address Deadlines: Delivery addresses must be submitted 24 hours before production starts for guaranteed delivery.
